WEDE brings you the opportunity to have Chef Beatriz in your home. Her proposal is to bring you the essence of Portuguese cuisine with her own signature. Passionate about innovation, she shows her contemporaneity and innovation in each creation, whether in typical Portuguese dishes or in Mediterranean or international cuisine.


What Chef Beatriz says:

From a very early age, I’ve been completely passionate about food in general. It was for this very reason that I always imagined that my future would involve gastronomy, and as soon as I was able to start my training in the area I didn’t hesitate.

My training began in Kitchen Management and Production at the Portalegre Hotel School and then in Culinary Arts at the Lisbon Hotel School.

The post-graduate master’s degree in Gastronomic Sciences undoubtedly completed my training.

I am fluent in Portuguese and English with excellent written and verbal skills.

I began my professional career in a Michelin-starred restaurant, based on French cuisine but with Portuguese flavours. I then worked in several Portuguese restaurants and opened a 5* hotel with a farm to table concept.

Portuguese gastronomy with classic techniques is my comfort zone. I consider myself meticulous with details. I try to adapt my work to each client’s objectives, making it a great experience for those who seek my work.

    I always keep traditional Portuguese cuisine at the center of all the dishes I create and I consider myself valued for the creativity behind each dish, expressing my personal touch while also exploring a fusion with international cuisine.


      Beatriz Carvão, born in Lisbon on 28 April 1995, with a childhood spent in Estremoz.

      Since 2011 I have invested in my training and passion for cooking.
